Achieving a balance between reliability and resilience is one of the most important goals for successful organizations and serves as a critical element in ensuring the safety of employees and equipment. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span courier="" new="" style="font-family:"><span style="color:black"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">Materials and Methods:</span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""> In this research, we used several databases, including ISI Web of Science, Scopus, MEDLINE (via PubMed), ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The keywords searched for the article were &ldquo;resilience,&rdquo; &ldquo;reliability,&rdquo; and &ldquo;incidents and events.&rdquo; </span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span courier="" new="" style="font-family:"><span style="color:black"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">Results:</span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""> Resilience engineering (RE) in organizations plays a critical role in enabling safe employee performance.
